Three men were arrested after they were found to be in possession of Mandrax and Methcathinone (CAT) in Newcastle CBD on August 1.

According to police reports, members of the Newcastle Public Order Policing Unit (POP) were conducting stop and search operations when the suspects were apprehended.
The three suspects aged 29, 33 and 49 years respectively, appeared in the Newcastle Magistrates Court on August 2.
