Roche Agenbag and Fred Liebenberg promote modelling for charity
This led Agenbag to come up with the idea of organising a modelling competition, to raise funds for the home.
Roche Agenbag and Fred Liebenberg are on a quest to make a difference in the lives of children.
After a visit to Home Meah, which is a shelter for abandoned babies, they were committed to change.
“We noticed while the staff there were doing everything they could, the babies were in need of nappies, toys and food,” said Liebenberg.
This led Agenbag to come up with the idea of organising a modelling competition, to raise funds for the home.
Titled Mr and Miss Home Meah, the competition will take place on October 21, with registrations at 10.30am on the day, and the event itself to start at 11am.
The entrance fee will be R120 for models, and a R20 entrance fee for spectators.
In the modelling competition, three winning girls each receive a sash and crown.
Other categories would be Mr and Miss Photogenic, Mr and Miss Congeniality as well as Most Photogenic.
“The winners of the categories will represent Home Meah for a year, as well as assist the home wherever possible,” Liebenberg explained.
Agenbag said they wanted to give a helping hand, knowing it would be of great assistance to the future of Home Meah’s babies.
“These children didn’t ask to be here, which is why we need people to come aboard. The future mayor or a potential doctor might be living there right now,” Liebenberg said.
