Weenen Primêr turns 160

To commemorate 160 years of the school's existence, the theme "Golden Oldies" was chosen

The learners of Weenen Primêr embark on a fundraising campaign every year in the second term.

The fundraising activities this year culminated in a theme walk on June 29. To commemorate 160 years of the school’s existence, the theme “Golden Oldies” was chosen.

All learners and staff had to dress up as grannies and grandpas to mark this milestone. There were prizes for best costumes and prizes for most funds raised. There will be an upcoming event to mark the 160 years.
