Estcourt Christian Academy athletes compete in Durban

ECA's athletes gave their best as they competed in numerous running events, shotput, turbo-javelin and long jump

Over September 1 and 2, six athletes from Estcourt Christian Academy (ECA) embarked on a journey to the King’s Park Athletics Stadium in Durban to compete in the KZN Christian School’s Regional Athletics meeting.

There were 694 athletes from all over KZN represented there and the atmosphere in the stadium was electric.

ECA‘s athletes gave their best as they competed in numerous running events, shotput, turbo-javelin and long jump.

Athletes that qualified in Durban will be representing KZN in the national event at Sasolburg where they are expecting 1 200 athletes from all over South Africa, they include Khumisho Mamaru, Tiaan Eden and Zekethelo Dladla, who threw an astonishing 7.24 meters in his shotput.
