The clinic users appreciated the information that was given

Staff and management of the Connor Street Clinic hosted an Open Day for its patients last Friday. Mr Chonco the Master of Ceremonies called upon Reverend Mbili to do an opening prayer.

Mrs PP Mvelase from the Estcourt Hospital shared the purpose of the day with the patients. The aim of the day was to make it known what services are available and can be rendered to them by the facility.

Male Medical Circumcision (MMC); social work services; HIV and Aids; tuberculosis; antenatal care and minor ailments such as influenza were among the services they offer. Estcourt Hospital Public Relations Officer, Zandile Gamede urged the patients use the suggestion box, to help have their ideas implemented at the clinic for better service.

Ms Sokhela was one of many speakers who was part of the programme. She pleaded with the patients to bring along Identity Documents when visiting the clinic. She went on to highlight that most of the time they are given the wrong address and contact details, making it difficult to follow-up, which can lead to numerous issues.
