Cyclists set to tackle Biggarsberg climbs
Cyclists are invited to take on the Biggarsberg’s challenging climbs and spectacular scenery when the third Biggarsberg Cycle Challenge takes place on September 27.

The all-tar road race starts and finishes at Talana Museum, with riders able to choose between a demanding 100km route and a shorter 45km course.
The 100km race starts at 07:00 and costs R300, while the 45km race starts at 07:15 and costs R100.
The longer route will test riders on some of the region’s toughest climbs, including Glencoe Pass, Mpati and Endumeni, while showcasing the scenic countryside around Dundee.
Something for everyone
The event caters for junior riders aged 14 to 19, open riders aged 19 to 39, veterans aged 40 to 49, masters aged 50 to 59 and grand masters aged 60 and older.
Both men and women are welcome to participate.
Organisers say the challenge offers cyclists the opportunity to test their fitness while enjoying Dundee and the surrounding area’s roads and scenery.
