It’s been 24-hours of tragedy on KwaZulu-Natal roads as road accidents caused 24 fatalities.

This is according to KZN Emergency Medical Services (EMS) who also responded to the fatal collision on the N3 near Nottingham Road that claimed the lives of four people.

Closer to home, on Sunday afternoon, five people were killed in a crash on Van Reenen’s Pass.

Eight people, including a nine-year-old died after a collision between a truck and a car on the R617 near Underberg on Sunday evening.
