Mother remembers much-loved daughter, Dr Thula

Her mother, Mrs Mthimkhulu, says Dr Mthimkhulu’s children, Kagiso, Refiloe and Abongwe, are doing well.

Eight years since her tragic death, a mother is still mourning the sudden death of a daughter.
Much-loved medical practitioner, Dr Thula Margaret Babhekile Mthimkhulu, died in a horrific car smash at the entrance to Newcastle on June 30, 2009. The crash finally prompted authorities to put up traffic lights at the busy intersection.
Her mother, Mrs Mthimkhulu, says Dr Mthimkhulu’s children, Kagiso, Refiloe and Abongwe, are doing well.
“I am pleased to say that the Almighty has always been by my side and the children are doing well at school. The two older ones are doing their tertiary education and the last born is in Grade 6. Thank you to my family for holding hands to ensure that these beautiful children get all the tender loving care that their mother offered them. I wish to make a special word of gratitude to her former husband for all he has done to fit in as a mother and father to the children with God’s assistance. May my daughter continue resting in eternal peace,” said Mrs Mthimkhulu.
