PREVIEW: Government gauges progress at Newcastle Technology Hub

Newcastle Technology Hub was recently assessed by representatives of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Treasury.

Newcastle Technology Hub is under the watchful eye of provincial government.

Delegates from provincial government arrived in town last week to gauge progress at the facility.

The delegation included Tim Madgwick, Technical Advisor from Provincial Treasury.

He explained all Technology Hubs had to be completed by February 2018.

Newcastle Municipality had submitted a revised programme to ensure the project reached practical completion by this deadline.

“Newcastle is one of four Tech Hubs approved with funding from the European Union (EU).”

For the full report on the Tech Hub, read this week’s edition of the Newcastle Advertiser.

The latest edition is on shelves from Thursday onwards.
