ECA learners attend the All Africa Student Convention

Three Estcourt Christian Academy learners had the privilege of attending the AASC held at Eunice High School in Bloemfontein from October 2 to 7

The All Africa Student Convention (AASC) is an annual event that is held over a period of one week.

High school learners from across Africa (and even Scandinavia) come together to compete in events in a variety of areas: academic, art, sport, music, platform (speech and drama), and dance.

AASC can best be described as a mini-Olympics for learners in schools using the ACE system and other Christian schools. Learners who excel in their events are nominated to attend the International Student Convention (ISC), which is held in the USA once a year.
The ISC tour is a life-changing experience and an awesome opportunity for learners.

Three Estcourt Christian Academy (ECA) learners had the privilege of attending the AASC held at Eunice High School in Bloemfontein from October 2 to 7.

Khumisho Mamaru, Micah Kühn and Cheyoncé Sathyanandam excelled in various areas bringing home six gold medals and one silver.
All three students received ISC nominations, qualifying them to attend the ISC 2018. Congratulations for putting ECA and Estcourt on the map. For more pictures visit the Facebook page, Estcourt Christian Academy-Estcourt.
