Blood buddies are lifesavers

The SANBS nursing teams were very grateful for all the donations made

On Thursday, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) held a blood donor clinic at the Estcourt Town Hall between 11am and 6pm.
64 locals attended and 50 made blood donations to the worthy cause, while one new donor was welcomed.

Bernard Nkabinde makes a hearty 12th blood donation.

Due to a shortage of blood an emergency blood donor clinic was hosted at Estcourt High School the next day, October 13.

Sunitha Budrum completed a lifestyle questionnaire ahead of her 32nd donation.

There 23 learners attended the clinic, 23 donated and six learners made their first ever blood donation.

The SANBS nursing teams were very grateful for all the donations made.

Thulani Ntshalintshali wore a smile while donating his second pint of precious blood.

They will be stopping by at Estcourt Secondary School this Friday, October 20 from 9am to 12pm for blood donations.
