5 schoolchildren involved in crash as car hits light pole in Ladysmith

Many people stopped to see what was going on

Five schoolchildren were involved in a crash on Thursday morning (October 26) in Tagore Road.

It is alleged that the driver of a Toyota Tazz was trying to avoid a dog in the street when the incident took place.

The driver veered off the roadway and crashed into a light pole.

The children and the driver were not injured in the crash.

Public Safety, police and a towing service responded to the scene.

Many people stopped to see what was going on and if all the occupants were safe.

The vehicle had to be towed away from the scene.
