Police have launched a murder investigation after a man’s body was discovered in Poort Road this morning (June 9).

Stabbed to death

The deceased was found lying near the roadway with multiple stab wounds. Police and forensic investigators attended the scene, which was cordoned off while evidence was collected.

Investigation underway

The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed and no arrests have been made at this stage.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward as investigations continue.
