South African celebrity Georgie “Papa G” Zamdela comes to Newcastle – (watch)

South African actor, Darlington Michaels, aka Georgie “Papa G” Zamdela, visited Newcastle Advertiser today (October 30).

Michaels, who is best known for his role as Papa G, in the South African soapie Isidingo, passed through town while filming an upcoming movie.

A portion of the movie was shot at Newcastle Advertiser offices, in a scene where Michaels got a copy of his paper.

Newcastle Advertiser staff also got the opportunity to rub shoulders with the phenomenal Papa G and get their photo taken.
