Fill up your tanks, as the petrol price is set to increase at midnight

Sad news to share this morning… Ladysmith motorists should fill up their tanks as soon as possible, as the fuel price will increase with effect from midnight tonight (October 31).

The price of all grades of petrol will increase by four cents a litre, with diesel rising from 23c/l to 27c/l, the energy department said in a statement on Saturday.

The department said the main reasons for the fuel price adjustments were the rand/US dollar exchange rate and the prices of petroleum products in the international markets.
