A pleasant surprise for police officers

A group of people, mostly teenagers, from the community approached the officers on duty to conduct a prayer with them

On Sunday, October 29, Weenen police officers on duty at the Community Service Centre (CSC) received a pleasant surprise.

A group of people, mostly teenagers, from the community approached the officers on duty to conduct a prayer with them.

The SAPS officials were touched by the kind gesture and Uthukela Cluster commander Major General Gonya, who was also present upon the group’s arrival, expressed his appreciation to the group for their support and caring concern for their local police.

“These teenagers are a beacon of light and may they serve as an example to others,” he said.
