Bowls fundraiser boosts Dundee Safety Forum

A successful TWK bowls fundraiser attracted 120 players to support the Dundee Safety Forum.

The Dundee Bowling Club was a hive of activity as 120 players took to the greens for TWK’s annual fundraising bowls day in support of the Dundee Safety Forum.

The family-friendly event also featured food stalls, a jumping castle for children and product displays by several of TWK’s suppliers, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the day.

After an afternoon of competitive bowling, the winners were announced.

In the Plate Division, The Shed 2 finished “Stone Last”, while Fantastic Fools claimed third place and The Donga finished second. De Jager Meats won the Plate Division with 23 points (+16).

‘Strengthening safety and security initiatives across our district’

In the Cup Division, Aqueboer finished “Stone Last”, Team Brokkies placed third and Fort Mistake took second. VlokenTalbots were crowned 2026 Cup Division champions with 21 points (+15).

Andrew Adams of the Dundee and District Farmers’ Union congratulated everyone who participated and supported the fundraiser.

“The Dundee and District Security Initiative and Dundee Bowling Club would like to thank TWK, its suppliers and partners for helping to host another successful day. The funds raised will go towards strengthening safety and security initiatives across our district,” he said.

Organisers thanked the players, sponsors, volunteers and supporters whose contributions helped make the annual fundraiser another success while raising much-needed funds for community safety.
