Vryheid ladies keep it a family affair as they clean up at KZN Ladies Inter Club Golf tournament

The Smit family led Vryheid Golf Club to victory in the KZN Ladies Inter-Club Golf Tournament played in Dundee over three days.

THE Smit family led Vryheid Golf Club to victory in the KZN Ladies Inter-Club Golf Tournament played in Dundee over three days.

Mother and daughter, Liezl and Marlie Smit, won top honours in the gold division while grandmother, Lynette Smith and granddaughter, Anika Smit, were runners-up in the silver division.

Gold division winners of the KZN Ladies Golf Inter Club, mother and daughter team, Liezl and Marlie Smit, receive the trophy from KZN Ladies Golf President, Jean Freeman.

Over 200 lady golfers from throughout KZN enjoyed three days of golfing fun and were superbly hosted by the hard working committee of the Dundee Golf Club with the lady members in particular in top form.
