It was good to see almost 40 golfers taking part in our Saturday Club competition for the second weekend in a row at Dundee Country Club.
Saturday’s format was a 4 BBBS competition which saw the popular pairing of Rob Streak and Debbie Catlett scoring 46 points to win the day with Kallie Roets and his partner, Dave Donaldson, one point behind on 45 points to come second. Barry Sandy and Henk Booysen scored 43 better ball points to finish in third place.
Five players shared the 2 Club “kitty” and they were; Clement Sithole on the 4th, Aaron Mbatha and Brett Meyer on the 12th, with Barry Sandy and Sifiso Kunene recording their 2 Club on the 16th hole.
The Club’s major fundraiser for the year, the Corporate Classic, takes place next Friday, 24 November and there are still a few places available for any businesses which would like to take part.
Entry fee is R2 500 per team of four players which also includes the player’s lunch and buffet dinner.
