Estcourt High School participated in the GET Excellence Awards and out of ten learning areas written, Estcourt High School achieved positions in six of the learning areas.

Zandisile Mayisela – isiZulu First Additional Language – first position.
Thandolwethu Nxumalo – Economic Management Sciences – first position.
Thandolwethu Nxumalo – Natural Science – first position.
Thandolwethu Nxumalo – Creative Arts – first position.
Thandolwethu Nxumalo – Life Orientation – second position.
Estcourt High School was the only school in the district that was awarded the Natural Science award as Thandolwethu Nxumalo was the only learner who achieved 80 percent and above.
Estcourt High School was the overall winner in the GET Phase. The school would like to congratulate all the teachers and learners. Well done!
