Drakensview convincingly won the trophy for most participants from a school at last week’s Spar Fun Run in aid of Estcourt Hospice Association.
More than 27 learners from all phases of the school eagerly took part in the 5km run. Siyanda Sithole from grade five received a trophy for being the first child at the finish.

Once the race was started, a few of our runners were seen to by the two brave educators who also walked. Mrs Naidoo, Acting Principal and Mrs Horlock perhaps kept to the back of the field to check for stragglers.
Thank you to the provincial Department of Sport and Recreation for the beautiful trophy the school was presented with. It was a fun and healthy morning.
