WATCH: #CannibalismCase: Bail application postponed for a third time
The case has been postponed to December 1. All four accused remain in custody

The third part of the bail application in the #CannibalismCase was heard this morning in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court.
State Prosecutor Mr Zuma informed the court that the Investigating Officer Mr Matsena was appointed to another case involving Albinism killings and was unable to verify addresses.

Mr Zuma added that Mr Matsena is based in Durban and is facing a challenge of directions in Bergville. In closing he announced that local assistance will be provided to ensure the verification of addresses.
Lawyer for the accused Ms Hadebe, who also stood in for her co-worker Mr Ngcobo, confirmed that they have been made aware by the state of these challenges.

Ms Hadebe consulted with her clients after which Magistrate Ms Sookraj said that since Mr Zuma will be overseeing the challenges, the matter has to proceed on the next date, since this case has urgency attached to it.
The case has been postponed to December 1. All four of the accused have been remanded in custody.
