The team went about cleaning, bagging several refuse bags. Some of the areas that were cleaned belong to residents and they are encouraged to keep an eye on the properties to ensure that no further dumping or littering takes place.

Mrs Vorster was thankful to the clean-up team whose hard work definitely went a long way to making the street look better.

Remember to report illegal dumping to the municipality on 036 342 7800.
