Every year the Grade 9 practical students of Tugela High celebrate their four years of hairdressing practical by ending it off with a fabulous Hair Show.
The theme of this years event was Alice in Wonderland, and the girls had to make top hats out of hair.
Using only hair as the main medium for this project, they went above and beyond creating colourful and creative hats.
With hard work and hours of practice from the students and teachers of Tugela, it all came together in a magical adventure as Alice searches for the Hatter.
The top three winners were announced as follows:
First place – Praise Gorekore.
Second place – Nikita Pienaar.
Third Place – Asanda Shabalala.
The school thanked every one of its sponsors of the evening and gave a special thanks to the judges of the evening, Chevonne Stander, Carmen Fourie, Clement Ngoni and Mrs Matambo for taking the time out of their busy schedules to attend the prestigious affair.
