The four men accused of conspiracy to commit murder and murder will be spending Christmas and New Year in prison.

Nino Mbatha, Sithembiso Sithole, Lungisani Magubane and Khayelihle Lamula were refused bail by Magistrate Ms Sookraj today.

This morning, the highly-anticipated bail application ruling was heard in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court.

All four men have been remanded in custody until January 25 when the matter is postponed for further investigation and forensic evidence.
