Three shooting incidents in one day
According to the local SAPS, three different shooting incidents were reported in one day and all three had the common link of two men having randomly fired shots at members of the public.

One of the suspects is believed to be a Zwakele Sphamandla Praisegod Nene, who is currently out on parole. He is also sought after for a rape case.
One man was shot in the Emadoshini area while he was heading home from a local tavern. The man is said to have crossed paths with the two and one of them pulled out a gun, aimed for his abdomen and fired. The man sustained injuries and was admitted to Vryheid Hospital.
Another man (also in the Emadoshini area) was walking near Hlanganani Creche when the two males approached from behind and fired a shot at him.
The third victim was a woman who was shot in her house. According to the police report, the men barged into her house with an unknown woman, demanded her bank card and pin, which she gave. The men left her and went to withdraw money but returned and shot her after the card was blocked at the ATM.
The woman sustained gunshot wounds to her head and thigh.
