It is thought the motive behind the shooting to death of a man late on Friday evening was revenge.
A man was shot dead outside his house in Sibongile after there had been a traditional function.
Police have not named the victim but it is understood that he had been charged with the murder in November of well-known Sibongile resident, Brian ‘Brasso’ Thompson. He was shot dead on November 11 outside his home on Nxumalo Street.
He was hit at least 10 times.
No arrests have been made in the latest murder to rock the area and a police investigation is continuing.
