A morning to remember for these ‘oldies’

Local seniors enjoyed their excursion to the dam

The annual Rotary’s “Golden Oldies” day was held recently where the Rotary Club of Dundee take the Golden Oldies to Tom Worthington Dam for a time of joy and fun and a good meal.
Although the weather was a a bit on the cool side and rather wet, the atmosphere inside the hall was truly great.
The folk were treated to tea and snacks in the morning and a good number of rounds of Bingo were played with lots of prizes for the winners.
There was also music by DJ Ken during the break and before the main meal!
The folk were also treated to some drinks etc.
“We believe the folk had a great morning, but alas as always, good times do come to an end and around 1:00 pm the party was over and the folk were all transported back to their places of residence,” said Rotarian, Ken Vorster.
A big thank you to all Rotarians for bringing some warmth and love into the lives of our dear “Golden Oldies”
A very worthy project indeed.
