Enjoy a day of splendour at the farmers market

Got nothing to do this Saturday? Well, you can make your way down to African Splendour Farm from 9am and enjoy a fun filled day for the whole family.

With lots to do, animals to meet and things to try, you are guaranteed not to be bored.

The farm is on the D500 New Formosa Road a right turn below the Estcourt Hospital; onto a dirt road.

Market goers can look forward to candle dipping, great picnic spots, sand art, off road biking and quad biking, wire work and so much more. Fresh vegetables, fudge, homemade cake and Belgium chocolate will also be available.

Music, bonfire, sheep on a spit braai will take place from 6pm that evening. Tickets are R100 for adults and R50 for children under 12 -years-old. The hosts aim to organise a market once a month to keep locals entertained and aid the well-being of the animals that reside at African Splendour Farm as well rescued animals (Mission of Love Animal Orphanage and Education Centre). Spots are still open to stall holders who wish to book a stall.
