Golfers support DHS hockey teams

Brett Meyer won the men's longest drive on hole No.15 with Dolly Bradbury who claimed the ladies prize for her drive on the 10th hole.

Dundee High School boys and girls first hockey teams will be going on tour over the Easter weekend and on Saturday they held a golf day at Dundee Country Club to raise funds for their tour.
The golf day was well supported with 57 players taking part in the 4 BBBS competition and winning the day on a count out after three pairings scored 45 points was S Mkhaliphi and W Mhlungu.
Second position went to Walter Du Plessis and Barry Sandy, while Clement Sithole and Mandla Mthethwa were counted out into the third position.
Cyril Mkhwananzi and his partner Jo Khumalo finished in fourth place on 44 points.
The novelty prize for nearest the pin on hole No. 4 went to S Mkhaliphi while B Fraser picked up the prize on hole No. 12.

The raffle for a booze hamper was won by Susan Smith.

Winning the day on a count out after three pairings scored 45 points was S Mkhaliphi and W Mhlungu. Barry Sandy of the Golf Club and Nikki Lippke of DHS presented the prizes.
