Man ‘bike-jacked’ in central Dundee
The man believes the thieves are operating from a house that is home to criminals

A man was forcibly robbed of his bicycle as he rode down Victoria Street last Friday evening.
He was approached by three men and a boy as he neared Dundee Primary School. They took his bicycle, a new Figo brand, he recently bought. They also attempted to rob him of his cellphone but he fought back and managed to escape. “I followed them and they went into a deserted house on the same street as the school. It was late in the evening, between 7.30pm and 8pm,” cried the victim, who declined to be identified.
“I went to the police and opened a case. The police accompanied me back to the house but the three men were not present only a group of shady-looking men were there.”
“The police should go to that house and find out what is happening there and who the rightful owner of that house is. It is a nest for criminals and criminal activities. It’s a house between a funeral parlour and Dundee Primary School,” he told the Courier.
Anyone who has seen the bicycle is asked to please call 082 854 2144.
