On Friday, the new prefects signed their pledges to fulfil their duties as leaders of Andante Independent School.
They were inaugurated at a special assembly held in their honour and attended by their parents.
Parents gathered at the school and cheered on their children, who wore proud smiles on their faces. Also in attendance, along with the Andante prefects selected for the year 2018, were proud school principal Mrs L Schirge and head of department Mr G Taljaard.
The head prefects were also selected at the school.
They are: deputy head girl – Zanokuhle Ngcobo, head girl – Senamile Masango, head boy – Asande Makathini, and deputy head boy – Christian Mpungane.
Andante is sure the prefects will lead the school admirably!
