Learning by getting “messy”

The opportunity to develop their senses in this way was a great and much-needed experience

The children at Little Hands Daycare were recently surprised by a visit from the Funky Kidz Messy Play team.

Their curiosity built as the team set out a variety of ‘sensopathic’ play activities for them.

The bright colours, varying textures and different scents had great appeal, and they were delighted when they received the invitation to explore without reservation.

Many were hesitant at first, as messy play is often discouraged at home, so the opportunity to develop their senses in this way was a great and much-needed experience! What a fun way to learn!
