You can save a life, it’s in your veins

Donate a pint of your lifesaving blood on February 11 when the Estcourt Sai Centre in partnership with the SANBS will be hosting a blood donor clinic at Forderville Primary School Hall from 10am until 2pm

Donating a pint of blood is a rewarding and relatively painless act.

Less than one percent of South Africans are active blood donors. A unit of blood only lasts 42 days after donation and, for this reason, it is important for blood donors to donate regularly.

Donors can give blood as often as every eight weeks. Every unit of blood can save up to three lives as blood is separated into red blood cells, plasma and platelets.
