Two killed after car crashes on Glencoe by-pass road

It is thought the drive lost control of the vehicle

Two people died when the car they were travelling in apparently went out of control and crashed near the intersection of the Dundee/Glencoe road and Glencoe by-pass at about 7.30pm last night.

Glencoe police said the driver failed to negotiate the bend in the road in the vicinity of the area known locally as the police dam.

The two occupants were killed. Both are believed to be from Sithembile and police said updates will be provided when these are available.

The Dundee/Glencoe road has in recent years become notorious for accidents.
