On Wednesday, March 14, a few DHS hockey teams travelled to Newcastle to compete against Saint Dominic’s Academy.
Our first teams played on the AstroTurf and the other teams played on grass. It was an amazing day of wonderful hockey. The coaches and spectators could feel the energy on the field as the boys and girls competed against each other for the win. The results were as follows:
First team boys lost 3 – 2 in a very close game.
The boys played excellent hockey. They dominated the game and lost in the final minutes of the game. First team girls lost 3 – 0, the second team boys won 1 – 0 and the u/16 girls won 2 – 0
