FLOOD UPDATE: Municipality seeks places of refuge ahead of possible evacuations
Mayor, Makhosini Nkosi said the municipality was aware of the situation and it was being closely monitored.

The flood siren sounded four times in the Paradise area, as the Ncandu River along Finnemore Street burst its banks earlier today.
The road has since been closed to traffic.
Concerned residents watched with bated breath as the water levels continue to increase.
For the safety of school children, a school in the area took a decision to evacuate its learners.
