BREAKING NEWS: One fatality in horror crash on the Madadeni Road – (GALLERY)
Emergency medical services are currently on scene, treating patients for minor to serious injuries.
The Easter weekend has begun with tragedy.
One person has died and several others were injured in an alleged head-on collision, which occurred on the Madadeni Road, near Karbochem, earlier this afternoon.

According to sources at the scene, the two vehicles involved were travelling in opposite directions when the incident occurred. Emergency medical services are currently on scene, treating patients for minor to serious injuries.
The rest of the patients have been taken to Madadeni Provincial Hospital for further treatment.
At this stage, one fatality has been confirmed.
Motorists using the Madadeni Road are urged to drive with caution or use an alternative route.
