DJ Rahil may be small but he can spin

Age is but a number, especially when you have big dreams and passion too.
For Rahil Pillay, his passion is making music and it’s already leading him to big things. Rahil has followed in his uncle, Inayet Gopie’s footsteps and is becoming a DJ. Rahil has been learning the tricks of the trade from his uncle and slowly growing his reputation as an up-and-coming DJ, but is still enjoying being a kid.
“I like going to school and my favourite subject is Maths. The teacher gives you a sweet if you get the answers right,” he said. Rahil practices as much as he can over weekends and admits to daydreaming about mixing songs together all the time.
“Sometimes I hear a song on the radio and think how I can make it better.”
Rahil’s favourite song of all time if Eye of the tiger by Survivor but currently he enjoys listening to Ed Sheeran’s new stuff.
He thanked DJ Inayet for teaching him everything he knows, promising to one day be as good as him one day.
