Drakensview’s Foundation Phase playground is making steady progress. A well-designed jungle gym is in the process of being built.
It will provide wonderful muscle strengthening opportunities for young bodies. Two tractors have been created to take the learners on long trips in their imaginations.

The tractors and tyre shongololos would not have been possible without the donation of many tyres of various sizes from local businesses.
The school’s thanks go to the caretaker and his team of workers for doing all the heavy digging and placing of tyres and blocks.

The Acting Principal, Mrs Mala Naidoo, has been a constant supporter and motivator to the grade one teachers who have been organising this exciting venture.
With this wonderful teamwork in place, playtime at school just gets more stimulating and fun.
