The board members have been playing the waiting game ever since 2009, after following all the correct channels.

In 2014 board of directors thought they needed two more years in order to get the ball rolling but due to a few hiccups and setbacks the two years become four.

The radio station’s frequency is 89.9fm and will operate around the clock. The station is based at 127 Albert Street, upstairs – neighbouring Maybongwe’s Hair Salon. The radio station is a non-profit organisation (NPO) under Uncedo Community Organisation.

Stay posted for the station’s official launch, but for now if you are interested in being radio DJ voluntarily, until the station can generate an income, contact one of the board directors.

The radio station will have a coverage radius of 100km that reaches out to Estcourt and its surrounding areas.
You can look forward to socio-economic challenges being addressed and community-based initiatives that identify economic diversities, youth development, skills upgrade, educational advancement, unemployment alleviation and a lot more will be broadcast.

For more information contact Board Chairperson Mr S Khanyeza 071 110 1428 or Board Secretary Mr V Mhlanga 072 135 7528.
