Former Volkie claims pageant crown

Luyanda was crowned the first runner-up at a glittering ceremony at AFS Communion Church in Nelspruit, hosted by Mzimari Productions and the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator.

Former Volkies are doing their school proud.

Volksrust High School is proud to announce that Luyanda Ngwenya, who matriculated there in 2016, was crowned First Princess in the Miss Mpumalanga 2018 pageant.

The final round of the competition took place on April 7.

Luyanda was crowned the first runner-up at a glittering ceremony at AFS Communion Church in Nelspruit, hosted by Mzimari Productions and the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator.

She was trained by Image Models of Volkrust.

“Everyone at Volksrust High School congratulates her and wishes her all of the best,” said representatives of the school.
