SCHOOLS NEWS: Mpume wins bronze at SA’s

Being overwhelmed by TUT's offer, it is safe to say that this was indeed Mpume's life-long dream come true. The school wishes her a great future and hopes to see her excel in athletics!

Mpume Mngomezulu, of Tugela Pre-Vocational School, claimed a deserving third position in the 200m Under-19 for girls at the South African National Athletics Championships in Potchefstroom.

Upon seeing her in action, Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) sponsors took interest in this talented young lady and offered her a sports coaching course in 2019.

Being overwhelmed by TUT’s offer, it is safe to say that this was indeed Mpume’s life-long dream come true. The school wishes her a great future and hopes to see her excel in athletics!
