Play equipment brings the smiles at SAVF Ukuthula Crèche

The learners at the crèche were very excited as all the equipment was shared out for them to look at

It was not just the lovely sunny weather that brought smiles to the learners and staff at SAVF Ukuthula Crèche, but the surprise of receiving play equipment.

The equipment was bought from donations made by the pupils, parents and staff of Hertingfordbury Cowper Primary School, which is in England.

The school decided to raise funds for the crèche because of their association with retired United Kingdom teachers Paul and Gill Gosbee, who are in Estcourt for three years helping with activities to support various schools.

The learners at the crèche were very excited as all the equipment was shared out for them to look at.

All the staff and learners as well as the SAVF Manager Mrs Ansje du Plessis expressed their deep appreciation for the generosity of the UK school by singing their thanks. The items will be shared amongst the classes so all the learners can benefit from them in time.
