Protest Update: Main roads in Ladysmith now open after municipal protest

Roads in the Ladysmith CBD are now open after the protest action that took place this morning (May 9).

Municipal workers gathered in the streets, blocking roads as they chanted and danced.

Protesters stood for hours waiting for their demands to be heard.
