Concerned motorists have complained about an electricity box being left open in a busy Ladysmith street.
The open box is at the intersection of Farquhar and Lambton Road, and many motorists have posted pictures of it on social media.
They ask how it can be left open, as many schoolchildren walk along that stretch of road daily.

They add: What if someone gets electrocuted by the wires that are just free for people to touch?
People are also concerned that if someone does something to the box, they could trip the power in the area.
