With the municipal strike now over, it is the hope of many that the town will soon be clean again.
Workers were seen cleaning up litter and rubbish in the streets on Friday (May 18).

During the strike, many areas of town did not have their rubbish collected and trash slowly piled up throughout the week. With the strike over, we can expect refuse removal to now take place as normal.
