"When I broke the shell of the egg, it was like another egg popped out"
Ladysmith resident Bianca Joubert encountered a strange egg recently.
When she broke open the egg, there was no white fluid and the yolk was solid.
Bianca has no idea why this is the case, as the egg was fresh. Out of the whole carton of eggs, this was the only one that had solid yolk inside.
“When I broke the shell of the egg, it was like another egg popped out. It looked like an egg inside an egg,” said a bemused Bianca.
She used a knife to cut open the yolk. Strange indeed!
