PREVIEW: Months on, York Street traffic lights remain dormant

Traffic lights at the intersection of Allen Street and York Street remain inactive, months after they went dark.

According to residents, a vehicle lost control and ploughed through a wall and transformer box at the intersection.

Just short of two months later, traffic light woes have continued.

In the meantime, motorists said it became a nightmare to traverse.
