Are these the worst roads in Glencoe?

"We feel sidelined by the municipality especially because they don't have to deal with traveling on such roads," said Khulekani, a resident from Glencoe in Ward 7.

Ward 7 Councillor, Doctor Sandy Bedassi, has asked the municipality to look at three gravel roads in Glencoe whose conditions have deteriorated rapidly since the start of last summer.
Glencoe residents living on Emily, Alice and Louisa Streets feel like the Endumeni municipality has forgotten about them.
“We don’t even know where to find our Councillor as he has no office,” said a concerned resident, “These gravel roads have been giving us problems since last year September and the pothole in Alice Street is damaging our cars.”

Motorists who use the three roads say they have to deal with dust in their homes and damage to their cars,
“We feel sidelined by the municipality especially because they don’t have to deal with traveling on such roads,” said Khulekani, a resident from Glencoe in Ward 7.
The roads are not the only problem that this area in Ward 7 faces. “We also use the old sewage system and there are residents who don’t even have electricity and its been years,” said Khulekani. He also mentioned that there is a section in their area that doesn’t even have water.
Doc Bedassi told the Courier he has followed up with the municipality’s Technical Department to look at maintaining these gravel roads.
Sewage and water are the competencies of the Umzinyathi District Municipality and the complaint has been forwarded to the District.
